One of my favorite sandwiches at Disneyland Park is the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich at Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland. It is a fried chicken fillet with Swiss cheese, crispy prosciutto, spinach and Dijon mayo on a toasted bun. The sandwich is served with taverne potato bites (which are actually tater tots) or Cuties mandarin oranges.
The sandwich comes wrapped in a foil wrapper with the taverne potato bites in a paper food tray. A drink is not included in the sandwich price but is sold separately.
In my opinion, the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich at Red Rose Taverne is delicious and very filling. The chicken is crispy and the flavor combined with all the toppings is mouth watering. The Dijon mayo adds a little spice but just the right amount without being too spicy or overpowering the overall taste. It’s a pretty good size sandwich and the tater tots are my preferred side. The taverne potato bites (or tator tots) are crispy and delicious. Of course, I am a tater tot fan anyway.
I usually don’t like any sauces on my sandwiches like ketchup, mustard or mayo but the Dijon mayo is a must on this sandwich because it adds so much to the overall taste. The sandwich with a side of taverne potato bites is currently $15.29 and is available at Red Rose Taverne for Lunch and Dinner.
My review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
