Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* in theaters May 2

The cast of Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* surprised attendees during The Walt Disney Studios’ presentation at CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas, NV this week. Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Hannah John-Kamen and Wyatt Russell took the stage to share footage from upcoming Marvel Studios’ film with the audience.

Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* features an unconventional team of antiheroes: Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?

The cast includes Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman (Sentry), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent John Walker), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova a.k.a. Black Widow), and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barns a.k.a. the Winter Soilder). The film is directed by Jake Schreier.
