Thunderbolts* Red Guardian coming to Avengers Campus

In a social media post this week, Disneyland announced that Red Guardian from the upcoming Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* movie will be coming to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park for a limited time starting May 2, 2025.

An unconventional team of antiheroes will come together on May 2, 2025 when Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* arrives in theaters. The team consists of Red Guardian, Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?

The cast includes Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman (Sentry), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent John Walker), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova a.k.a. Black Widow), and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barns a.k.a. the Winter Soilder). The film is directed by Jake Schreier.

To promote the film at the Disneyland Resort, Red Guardian will arrive at Avengers Campus on the same day as the movie is released. Check out Disneyland’s Instagram post where the Red Guardian himself announces his arrival.
