Park hopping at the Disneyland Resort is about to get a lot easier! Starting June 9, 2026, the 11:00am park hopper restriction is going away allowing guests with a theme park reservation and a park hopper ticket to visit both parks without having to wait until 11:00am to “hop” from one park to another.
A Park Hopper ticket allows guests to visit more than one park per day at the Disneyland Resort. Current guidelines require guests to make a theme park reservation for the first theme park they plan to visit. After entering that first park, guests are able to visit the next park starting at 11:00am and go back and forth between the parks until each park’s regularly scheduled closure. But, starting June 9, the 11:00am restriction is going away. This will allow guests with a Park Hopper ticket to visit both theme parks after each park opens until each park’s regularly scheduled closure.

This change also applies to Magic Key Holders. As long as a Magic Key Holder has a park reservation for either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, they can enter either park at any time during normal operating hours without having to wait until 11:00am to move from one park to another.
Are you excited for this change to take effect? It will definitely eliminate the large crowds in the Esplanade before 11:00am as well as the long lines to enter the parks at 11:00am. I’m curious exactly how the crowds will be in each park before 11:00am but time will tell!
