Halloween Time has officially begun at the Disneyland Resort and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit has returned for another year! Get into the spirit of the Halloween season by searching for hidden decorative pumpkins themed to Disney & Pixar characters around the Disneyland Resort.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit started this year on August 21, 2026 and is available through October 31, 2026 (or while maps and keepsakes last). Here are some pictures of what the pumpkins may look like. These pictures are from previous year pursuits so that I am not giving away where the pumpkins are hidden this year.

How it works
To participate in a pursuit, purchase a map with stickers for $11.99 (plus tax) from one of the Disneyland Resort merchandise locations listed below. Then, begin your pursuit by searching for the hidden decorative pumpkins themed to Disney & Pixar characters around the resort. Once you find one of the decorative pumpkins, place the corresponding sticker on your map and start searching for the next pumpkin. Once you have found all of the hidden pumpkins, return to one of the redemption locations listed below to receive a special Halloween themed keepsake. And if you prefer to purchase the map and not participate in the pursuit, you can still redeem your map for a keepsake.
There are three different pursuits with three different maps. The pursuits are in Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District. The maps for these three different pursuits will have different hidden pumpkins to find around each theme park or Downtown Disney District where the map is purchased.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a lot of fun and there are a few keepsake collectibles available so it can be fun to participate in all three pursuits in order to collect all of the different keepsakes. This years keepsakes are five different mystery blind bag Halloween treat bags featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy and Stitch. Note that these are mystery blind bags this year so you never know which bag you are going to get. In previous years, you were able to choose your keepsake.
