This year, one of the monthly pin series that will be available at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort is the “Disney Arcade Alley Bowler Edition” pin series. This pin series will alternate releases each month between the east and west coast resorts. I was able to preview this new monthly pin series this past August at the Magic Hap-Pins pin event in Florida. The pins in this series feature skee ball type arcade game designed with Disney Characters from a specific movie. Each pin has a Limited Edition size of 2,000 and the retail price for each pin is $19.99.
The first three pins in the series are The Little Mermaid, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Monsters Inc. The Little Mermaid “Disney Arcade Alley Bowler Edition” pin is the first pin in the series that will be released in January only at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pin will be released in February only at the Disneyland Resort and the Monsters Inc pin will be released in March only at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The second quarter pins include Emperor’s New Groove, Mulan and Zootopia. The Emperor’s New Groove pin will be released in April at the Disneyland Resort, the Mulan pin in May at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Zootopia pin in June at the Disneyland Resort. Exact release dates are not available at this time.
