D23 Day at Disneyland returns on August 13, 2026

D23 Day at Disneyland Resort is returning to The Happiest Place on Earth on August 13, 2026, kicking off D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event which takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center on August 14, 15 16. Everyone with a with a valid theme park admission and reservation – including D23: The Official Disney Fan Club Members and D23 Event 2026 attendees – are invited to this one-day celebration at Walt Disney’s original theme park.

D23 Day at Disneyland will offer guests special entertainment, dance parties, themed merchandise and more throughout the day including complimentary ear hats. Let’s take a look at all of the offerings that are scheduled for this special day.

Complimentary Ear Hats and Commemorative Guides

At park opening on August 13 and while supplies last, guests entering Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park with valid park admission may receive a complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hat featuring the D23 Day at Disneyland Resort logo and a commemorative guide. Limited quantities will be available and there is a limit to one complimentary ear hat per guest. Also note that embroidery is not available for the complimentary D23 Day Mickey Mouse ear hats.

Disney Legends Cavalcade at Disneyland

A special Disney Legends Cavalcade will take place at Disneyland Park at 1:30pm featuring 23 characters, the Disneyland Band and select Disney Legends, who have been recognized for the unique and impactful legacies they have created at Disney. The cavalcade will start at 1:30pm at “it’s a small world” and make its way along the parade route down Main Street, U.S.A. and through Town Square.

D23 Day Entertainment

In addition to the Disney Legends Cavalcade, D23 at Disneyland will offer other special entertainment including dance parties and special character encounters.

Merlin from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Sword and the Stone and the Blue Fairy from Disney’s Pinocchio are schedule to be wandering through Fantasyland.

Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland will feature music and dancing starting at 2pm. “Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Bash” will take place from 2pm to 6pm featuring everyone’s favorite blue alien. And from 7:30pm to 11:30pm “Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks Dance Party” will take over Tomorrowland Terrace featuring popular songs from both streaming channels for guests to show off their dance moves.

Photo Opportunities

Throughout the day, multiple D23 Day icon photo locations will be available for guests to pose for a photo. The photo locations throughout Disneyland Resort will be in Town Square at Disneyland Park, Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park, and in Downtown Disney (exact location to be determined).

And if you’re looking for new photos to decorate your walls with at home, photo booths in the Hollywood Backlot in California Adventure and Fantasyland Theater in Disneyland will offer D23 Day-themed photo strips for an additional fee.

In addition, Disney PhotoPass service will also offer fun D23 themed Magic Shots throughout day.

Complimentary Disney PhotoPass Digital Downloads

As part of the festivities, all park guests with valid park admission and theme park reservations on August 13, 2026 may receive complimentary unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day.**

D23 Day Logo Collection will feature the D23 Day at Disneyland Resort logo and include a colorful tee, D23 Day trading pin and a magnet. This collection will be available at the Emporium at Disneyland, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure and World of Disney at Downtown Disney.

Disneylandia Collection

Disneylandia Collection is a collaboration with Southern California-based, Latina-owned lifestyle and streetwear brand Viva La Bonita. This collection, named “Donde Empiezan Los Sueños,” weaves together culture and storytelling, capturing how Disneyland inspires dreams. This collection will be available at the Emporium at Disneyland, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure and The D-Lander Shop at Downtown Disney.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame 30^th Anniversary

The Hunchback of Notre Dame 30^th Anniversary collection will premiere on D23 Day at the Emporium at Disneyland, Off the Page at Disney California Adventure and World of Disney at Downtown Disney. The collection honors the 30^th anniversary of Disney Animation Studios’ The Hunchback of Notre Dame and features a Spirit Jersey, ear headband, Disney trading pin, mug, and more! This collection will also be available at the D23 Marketplace in the Anaheim Convention Center during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, while supplies last. And, it will become available on DisneyStore.com at a later date.

Alice in Wonderland 75^th Anniversary

The Alice in Wonderland 75^th Anniversary collection will premiere on D23 Day at Clothiers at Disneyland, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure and The D-Lander Shop at Downtown Disney. The collection will celebrate 75 years of Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and feature pastel apparel and accessories inspired by the Queen of Hearts’ favorite pastime, croquet. Like the Hunchback of Notre Dame collection, this collection will also be available at the D23 Marketplace in the Anaheim Convention Center during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, while supplies last. It will also become available on DisneyStore.com at a later date.

D23 Day Medallions

Special D23 Day Medallions will be available while supplies last at Candy Palace at Disneyland, Kingswell Shop at Disney California Adventure and Near Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney. For the first time, all four medallions will be available in capsules and as a complete four-medallion set. The D23 commemorative medallions feature four distinct designs with the D23 Day at Disneyland Resort logo on the back.

Popcorn Bucket and Treat

A new novelty Haunted Mansion Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket will be beginning August 13 at Harbour Galley, Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, Popcorn at Frontierland and Popcorn at New Orleans in Disneyland, and at Popcorn at Grizzly Peak Airfield and Popcorn Near Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure. The popcorn bucket will have a limit of two (2) per person, per transaction and will be available while supplies last. Note: No discounts apply to popcorn buckets.

And to celebrate D23 Day, a Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey Cake Pop presented by Visa will be available for a limited time (while supplies last) beginning August 13 at Candy Palace in Disneyland, Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure and Disney Wonderful World of Sweets in Downtown Disney.

“Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration” Live Performance

As the culmination to the day and in anticipation of World Princess Week, a limited number of fans may have the opportunity to attend the live performance of “Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration” in Disney California Adventure on August 13. This spectacular performance will bring together the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever assembled, celebrating the iconic stories across animation, live-action, stage, and music.

This one-of-a-kind concert will transform the night with dazzling lights, sweeping projections, and sky-high fountains creating a truly immersive world where the music, magic, and legacy of Disney Princesses shine like never before. Fans will also be able to stream the concert on Disney+ and watch it on Disney Channel, Freeform, and The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC on Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Virtual Queue Details

Attendance to the performance will be limited and will require a virtual queue reservation. Virtual queue enrollment will begin at 12:00pm PST on August 13 in the Disneyland app for guests who have entered Disney California Adventure Park or Disneyland Park with a valid Park Hopper ticket.. The concert performance will take place at Paradise Gardens Park in Disney California Adventure Park at 8:30pm and 9:45pm PST.

A virtual queue confirmation, wristband and valid admission for Disney California Adventure are all required to participate in this experience. Guests will be assigned an admittance group when joining the virtual queue. When your group is called, and you receive a push notification, proceed to Hyperion Theater Courtyard between 4:00pm and 6:00pm to scan your ticket or entry code to pick up your wristband.

Virtual queue admittance groups are extremely limited and available while supplies last. Wristbands will only be distributed to guests who have obtained a virtual queue admittance group entry code and have signed a filming release form. Wristbands have no cash value, may not be sold, and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. Wristband availability and procedures are subject to change without notice.

D23 Discounts at Downtown Disney

Beginning August 1 through August 16, select locations at the Downtown Disney District will have special offerings or discounts for guests that present their D23 Event badge or D23 Gold Membership Card.
