During San Diego Comic Con this weekend, Kevin Feige announced that a new Ghost Rider film is in development. In addition, he announced that Ryan Gosling will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the motorcycle-riding hero.
The film which is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2028 will be directed by Shawn Levy who directed Marvel Studios Deadpool & Wolverine. Levy is also currently working with Gosling on another project from a different franchise under The Walt Disney Company. The two are currently working together on the upcoming film Star Wars: Starfighter which is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 28, 2027.
An exact release date was announced for Marvel Studios Ghost Rider starring Ryan Gosling, only that it will released in 2028.
