During San Diego Comic Con this weekend, it was announced that Marvel Studios Black Panther 3 has been green-lit and the Wakandans will be coming to theaters December 15, 2028. Ryan Coogler, who directed the first two Black Panther films, will return to direct Black Panther 3.
But before Black Panther 3 arrives in theaters on December 15, 2028, the Wakandans will be back in theaters in another Marvel Studios film later this year. Marvel Studios Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026 and will feature an all-star cast including The Wakandans, The Fantastic Four, Thor, Captain America and more.
