The Disneyland Resort is growing and a lot of changes (and construction projects) are taking place around the resort. Starting next week, Guests staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel that offers shuttle drop-off service at the Disneyland Resort will be affected by a new drop-off area.

Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel Shuttle Drop-off

Starting Tuesday, November 2, 2026, the Good Neighbor Hotel and third-party hotel shuttle drop-off location will move to the new Downtown Disney District Shuttle Area near Lululemon in Downtown Disney. The current shuttle drop-off location is shown on the Google Map image below near Harbor Blvd with only a short walk to both Disneyland theme park entrances.

But starting November 2, all Good Neighbor Hotel shuttle drop-offs will be relocated to the Downtown Disney District Shuttle Area near Lululemon in Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Hotel. This will mean a lot further walk to the theme park entrances through Downtown Disney. The Downtown Disney District Shuttle Area is shown on the Google Map image below in a red box.

All-New Parking Structure and Transportation Hub

The shuttle drop-off change is due to construction taking place in the eastern portion of the Esplanade and the construction of an all-new transportation hub for the Disneyland Resort. While the new parking structure and transportation hub will be behind the Good Neighbor Hotels on Harbor Blvd, Disneyland is also building a pedestrian bridge over Harbor Blvd leading to an all-new esplanade arrival experience. This new pedestrian bridge and esplanade arrival experience will take up some of the real-estate currently occupied by the Good Neighbor Hotel and third-party hotel shuttle drop-off.

All-New Parking Structure and Transportation Hub Coming to Disneyland Resort

Construction on the new parking structure and transportation hub has already begun but is in the very early stages. Guests staying at the Camelot Inn & Suites, Tropicana Inn & Suites or any other hotels nearby may have already noticed the land being cleared behind those hotels. Also, guests arriving at the Disneyland theme parks have experienced a few construction walls around the ticket booths in the east Esplanade because they have been removed for the new arrival experience.

Soon, the East Security screening area will temporarily shift into the former location of the east ticket booths. Construction walls currently result in temporary walkway adjustments to and from the theme park and main resort entrances due to this construction. Guests should expect these construction walls in the Esplanade area between the two theme parks as well as the area between Harbor Blvd and the East Security screening until the pedestrian bridge and arrival area has been completed. Since the project is only in the early stages, it will continue for at least two years.

As further changes occur, we will be sure to post updates so Guest can plan for their next Disneyland Resort experience.
