A new original animated film is coming to theaters Spring 2026 from Disney & Pixar Animation Studios. Hoppers will be Pixar Animation Studios’ 30th full length animated movie following Elio, the 29th Pixar animated movie due in theaters June 2025.
What if you could talk to animals and understand what they’re saying?
In Disney and Pixar Studios’ Hoppers, scientists have discovered how to “hop” human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals, allowing people to talk to animals as an animal. The film will introduce Mabel, an animal lover who seizes an opportunity to use the technology, uncovering mysteries within the animal world that are beyond anything she could have imagined. Mabel will be voiced by Piper Curda from the Disney Channel series I Didn’t Do It and A.N.T. Farm. Curda also starred in the Disney Channel original movie Teen Beach 2. Hoppers will also feature the voice talents of Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan.
Disney-Pixar Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong and produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle. The 30th Pixar film was announced during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in August.
