Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde along with all their friends from Disney Animation Studios Zootopia are taking over the Tree of Life Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in an all new 3D show named “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!”.
The show will take guests on an adventure through different biomes seen in the 2016 Disney animated film.
The Tree of Life Theater currently hosts “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” which has been in the theater since the theme park opened in 1998. This 3D film and live show is inspired by Disney-Pixar’s animated movie A Bug’s Life. An official closing date for “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” has not been announced but it will most likely close sometime in early 2025 since Disney announced that “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” will open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom next winter – just in time for the sequel to Zootopia to hit movie theaters.
Zootopia 2
During D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, it was announced that Zootopia 2, the sequel to the 2016 Disney Animation Studios film, will be coming to theaters November 2025. The film will star Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde who will team up again to crack a new case.
I am guessing we will see the first teaser trailer for Disney’s Zootopia 2 this coming November before Disney’s Moana 2 which sails into theaters November 27, 2024.
