Wizards Beyond Waverly Place First Look

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the spin-off and sequel to Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place will premiere on Disney Channel with two episodes on October 29, 2024. The two episodes will be available to stream on Disney+ the next day. The show will follow an adult Justin Russo who is now married with two children. Justin has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his wife Giada and their two children Roman and Milo. But, when he is introduced to a young wizard by his sister Alex, he realizes he must mentor the young wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday life.

The Cast

David Henrie will reprise his role as Justin Russo in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. Selena Gomez will guest star as Alex Russo with an appearance in the first episode. Both Selena Gomez and David Henrie are executive producers of the reboot.

Justin’s wife Giada will be played by Mimi Gianopulos. And, their two children will be played by Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo and Max Matenko as Milo Russo. Janice LeAnn Brown will portray Billie, the young wizard that Justin mentors.

David DeLuise and Maria Canals-Barrera will guest star as Justin’s parents Jerry and Theresa Russo.

The show was created by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas who also created the sequel to That’s So Raven, Raven’s Home. Andy Fickman directed the pilot episode and will direct most of the episodes for the first season.
