2024 is the Year of the Dragon on the Chinese zodiac calendar. And 2025 will be the Year of the Snake? So, do you know what animal you are on the Chinese zodiac calendar?
The Chinese zodiac calendar cycles every 12 years and is represented by 12 different animals: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. Your zodiac animal is determined by the year of your birth, meaning those born in 2024 are the Year of the Dragon. And if you were born in the year 2000, you were also born in the Year of the Dragon. But if you were born in 1990, you were born in the Year of the Horse.
Every year, Lunar New Year is celebrated at Disney California Adventure Park (DCA). During the celebration, a Disney character represents that particular years animal. For example, Mushu was the mascot for the Year of the Dragon. Last year, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was the mascot for the Year of the Rabbit. And in 2022, Tigger was the mascot for the Year of the Tiger. So, I am curious which Disney character will be the mascot for the Year of the Snake. Will it be Kaa? And will there be a Kaa meet and greet? I guess we will find out next year!
