Watch the Paint the Night Parade at Disneyland

The Paint the Night Parade has returned to Disneyland Park for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the resort. Paint the Night first premiered at Disneyland Park on May 22, 2015 as part of the resort’s 60th anniversary Diamond Celebration but ended it’s first run in the park on September 5, 2016.

Two years later, the parade returned to the Disneyland Resort with nightly performances at Disney California Adventure Park from April 12, 2018 through November 7, 2018. Several parade floats were modified for this run because they were too tall to clear the Red Car Trolley’s overhead wires. While the Frozen float did not return for this run of the parade, a new Incredibles float was added to promote the release of Incredibles 2 in theaters.

But for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Disneyland Resort, this fan-favorite parade has returned to Disneyland Park for the celebration which runs through Summer 2026. In addition, the Frozen float that was removed from the parade when it ventured over to Disney California Adventure Park has returned for the 70th Anniversary run of the parade. Paint the Night will most likely go on hiatus for about two months during the Christmas holidays but should return January 2026 after the holiday season ends.
