The latest action-packed trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu has been released for the epic film arriving in theaters on May 22, 2026. The upcoming film directed by Jon Favreau and co-written by Favreau and Dave Filoni is a continuation of the very popular Disney+ television series The Mandalorian which first aired from 2019–2023. The series stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin / The Mandalorian and introduces the loveable Grogu. All three seasons of The Mandalorian series are available to stream at any time on Disney+.

The film takes place after the Empire had fallen. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu.
