Every year, the Walt Disney World Resort has a few exclusive monthly pins that are released as part of a series with a total of 12 pins (one for each month) in the series.
This year, one of the monthly pins that will be exclusive to the Walt Disney World Resort is the “Parades” pin series. I was able to preview this new monthly pin series this past August at the Magic Hap-Pins pin event in Florida. The pins in this series feature a character from a popular Walt Disney World Attraction riding a parade float. Each pin has front and back connectors so that they can connected together on your pin board. Each pin has a Limited Edition size of 3,000 and the retail price for each pin is $19.99.
The first three pins in the series are Figment from Journey into Imagination at EPCOT, the Mad Hatter from the Mad Tea Party Tea Cups Attraction and the dog with the key from Pirates of the Caribbean. The Figment “Parades” pin is the first pin in the series that will be released in January at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Mad Hatter pin will be released in February and the Pirates of the Caribbean pin in March.
The second quarter pins include Sebastian from Journey of the Little Mermaid, Big Al from The Country Bear Jamboree and John from the Carousel of Progress. The Sebastian pin will be released in April, the Big Al pin in May and the Carousel of Progress pin in June. Exact release dates are not available at this time.
