An all-new water attraction is coming to Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris! Guests will plunge deep into the heart of the Pride Lands with three exciting slopes including a 52-foot-high drop once this new attraction comes to life.
After entering the caves beneath the 120-foot-high Pride Rock, guests will take their own place in the Circle of Life when they embark on a sensational and musical adventure. Guests will travel through iconic scenes from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 1994 classic film The Lion King featuring classic songs from the film.
The attraction will include all-new Audio-Animatronics figures of Simba, Timon, Pumbaa and other members of the Pride Lands as they bring the story of the film to life while performing songs from the film.
Once this attraction roars to life, it will be featured in an all-new immersive world dedicated to the characters and stories from the film, with plenty of dining, shopping and opportunities to meet favorite characters from the film. And because Pride Rock will stand 120-foot tall, the new Lion King attraction will be one of the biggest attractions at Disneyland Paris.
Disney Adventure World is Disneyland Paris’ second park that was formerly named Walt Disney Studios Park. The Lion King attraction and area will be another addition to a long list of new attractions and lands being added to the Paris theme park.
Construction on the new Lion King attraction is set to begin this fall 2025; however an opening date has not been announced. As the Walt Disney Studios Park continues to transform to Disney Adventure World, we should learn more about this new immersive land as well as a tentative opening date.
