When visiting the Disneyland & Walt Disney World Resort, I always look for new Disney Parks pins including open edition, limited edition and limited release pins. This past week, I found at least twenty new open edition pins around the parks & resorts in the merchandise shops. Some of these pins have been out for a few weeks and some arrived in shops as recently as this week, but all of these pins are new to 2024.
What’s New?
First, there’s a new Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz pin with a Sugar Rush racer. Retail price is $12.99. This pin arrived in shops this week. Then there is a new Brother Bear 2-Pin open edition set for $19.99.
This Flynn Rider pin is one of my favorite of these twenty new pins. I love the look on his face as he holds his “Wanted” poster. Next, this Tarzan & Kala pin shows Tarzan as a baby in diapers. This pin arrived in shops a few weeks ago. Both pins are $12.99 each.
There are also two new Winnie the Pooh and friends open edition pins. One pin features Winnie the Pooh and Piglet building a snowman in the 100 Acre Woods. The next pin features a stuffed Pooh Bear, stuffed with honey! Both Winnie the Pooh pins are $12.99 each.
Then there is a new Mickey & Minnie Mouse pin showing the two Disney icons sitting on a park bench as they watch the fireworks over the castle. Retail price is $14.99. And since this is the Year of the Dragon, it is appropriate that there is a new Mushu pin. Retail price is $12.99.
These next two pins feature Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Ariel from The Little Mermaid at a window smelling a flower. The characters appear as cartoon style art with stars in the background. Both Disney Princess pins $14.99 each.
And now it’s time for Stitch! This Jumba and Stitch pin is $14.99. And Stitch showing his lovely teeth is $12.99.
New Mickey Mouse pins are available at most Disney Parks & Resorts merchandise shops that sell pins. The first pin features Mickey in his Main Street USA iconic suit. And the second pin features Mickey as Steamboat Willie. Both pins are $12.99 each.
I don’t think there has been a Disney Parks open edition Chicken Little pin available in a few years. This pin features a happy Chicken Little who doesn’t look afraid that the sky is falling. And then there’s everyone’s favorite dwarf, Grumpy. He is leaning against a barrel with “Hah! Mush!” written on the side. Both pins are $12.99 each.
There are three new pins from Lady and the Tramp. The first pin features Lady as a pup in a basket with a pink bow. The second pin features the iconic scene from the movie with Tramp and Lady in the wet cement. Each pin is $12.99.
The third new pin from Lady and the Tramp is a 2-pin set with Jock & Trusty. This pin set is $19.99. And lastly, there is a new Bambi and Thumper pin with Thumper’s classic saying “If you can’t say something nice….don’t say nothin’ at all…” The Bambi and Thumper open edition pin is $12.99.
All of these pins are available at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort. And, it is possible that a few of these pins will show up on Disneystore.com in the coming weeks.
That a Wrap!
There are always a lot of open edition pins available at the Disney Parks & Resorts merchandise shops. And sometimes, it is a challenge to figure out which open edition pins are new. I know there are more than twenty new open edition pins that have been released since the beginning of 2024 but I wanted to highlight a few in this post. I have also written about several other new open edition pins released over the last few weeks including a new Baymax & Hiro pin and a new Chip ‘n Dale Cornucopia pin.
And check out the Disney Limited Edition and Limited Release pins released last week, March 12, 2024, here. Every week, I post about the newest Limited pins along with any open edition pins that were released at the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneystore.com.
Are you a Disney pin collector? Do you collect open edition pins? And is there a particular character or movie that is your favorite to collect? Let me know! I would love to hear from you.
As always, I’ll “See ya real soon” Mouseketeers!
