An all-new reimagined show inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios The Little Mermaid is coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure will take audiences on Ariel’s under the sea adventures with new digital puppetry, cutting-edge effects, live puppets, new props and scenery. Plus, the all-new theatrical production will feature new-to-the-show songs!
Ariel’s new musical adventure begins on May 27, 2025 in the Animation Courtyard theater previously occupied by the former show Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Prince Eric and all of their friends under the sea will take to the stage and retell the classic story of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
Songs in the reimagined show
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure will feature “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World” which were previously featured in Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Plus, two additional songs will added to the new show including “Daughters of Triton” and “Kiss the Girl.”
