The critically acclaimed Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor returns for a second season on April 22, 2025 with 12 new episodes. Earlier this week, Disney dropped a new trailer for Season 2 of the series.

About Star Wars: Andor

Star Wars: Andor stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor who is also an executive producer of the show. Other stars appearing in the series include Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, and Kyle Soller as Syril Karn. The series is part of the Star Wars franchise and a prequel to the 2016 Star Wars film Rogue One, set a few years before the film.

Star Wars: Andor follows the events of Cassian Andor as he becomes a revolutionary and eventually joins the Rebellion. Cassian is a thief and scavenger whose home planet, Kenari, was rendered uninhabitable by a botched Imperial mining project. Season 2 of the series will focus on Cassian becoming a key player in the Rebel Alliance against the Empire. In the trailer, we see a clip of the Death Star and fighting with Stormtroopers as the series leads up to the events of Rogue One.

Season 2 of Star Wars: Andor will be the final season of the Disney+ series. The series returns on April 22 with a three episode premiere. A new episode will be available to stream every Tuesday on Disney+ following the April 22 priemere concluding with a three episode finale on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
