Starting Tuesday, May 20, 2025, select Disneyland Magic Key annual passes will go back on sale on the Disneyland website no earlier than 9am PT. The online queue will open no earlier than 8:45am PT. The Believe and Inspire Key pass types will be available for purchase while supplies last.

Here’s a look at all four Magic Key annual pass types and their prices (even though only the Inspire and Believe Key will be on sale starting May 20th):

Magic Key Annual Pass TypePrice
Inspire Key$1,749.00
Believe Key$1,374.00
Enchant Key$974.00
Imagine Key$599.00

The Magic Key pass program provides reservation-based admission to one or both Disneyland Resort theme parks throughout most of the year. For those who are not familiar with the Disneyland Magic Key pass program, it is the name of Disneyland’s Annual Pass program. Disneyland changed the name of their Annual Pass to Magic Key Pass in 2021 when the Magic Key passes went on sale after the COVID-19 pandemic closure of the Disneyland Resort.

Inspire Key vs Believe Key

The main difference between the Inspire Key and Believe Key, besides the price, are the discounts and blockout dates. The Inspire Key has a higher discount on merchandise and food & beverage purchases with only 2 weeks blocked out around Christmas and New Years. The Believe Key has quite a few block out dates throughout the year including three weeks around Christmas and New Years Day, Easter week and several weekend dates throughout the year. The Inspire Key also includes standard parking while the Believe Key offers a 50% discount off standard parking. Compare all of the differences between these two Magic Key pass types by reading my blog post here and find out which Magic Key pass is right for you.

At this time, Magic Key passes are only available for renewal up to 30 days before the pass expiration date. Renewals also include upgrading or downgrading a Magic Key to an available pass type if available.

Tip: Magic Key pass types sell out quickly, sometimes within the day of going on sale, so be online before 8:45am PT on May 20th ready to go. Also, be prepared to wait in an online queue for an hour or two (sometimes longer) to purchase your pass. Once the online queue opens and you are assigned a number in the queue, the closer you are to number 1, the shorter your wait time will be.

Select Disneyland Magic Key Annual Passes Back on Sale May 20th

Are you a Disneyland Magic Key pass holder? Or will you be purchasing a Disneyland Magic Key pass when new sales begin on May 20? Good luck to those wanting to purchase a new Magic Key. Be patient if you have to wait in the online queue and make sure you have something else to do while you wait – but make sure you keep an eye on your position in the queue.
