Pin Trading Starter Sets are a great way to get started with pin trading at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. When you purchase a Starter Set, you get four pins and a lanyard which gets any pin trader on their way to the pin trading & collecting obsession. So, today I wanted to share with you a few Starter Sets that are currently available at the Disneyland Resort merchandise shops. These sets are also available at the Walt Disney World Resort merchandise shops.
Pirates of the Caribbean & Under the Sea Pin Trading Starter Sets
These first two Starter Sets have been out for about 2-3 months. One is a Pirates of the Caribbean Starter Set that contains a Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto pirate pin as well as a lanyard with pirates logo print.
The next set is the Under the Sea Starter Set which contains pins with both a lead Disney character and a sidekick on the pin. The set includes a Lilo & Pudge, Ariel & Flounder, Pinocchio & Cleo and Dory & Nemo pin along with a lanyard with bubbles printed on it.
Winnie the Pooh & 2024 Pin Trading Starter Sets
These next two Starter Sets have been out for varying times. The first one is a Winnie the Pooh Starter Set that contains a Pooh bear, Tigger, Owl and Rabbit pin as well as a lanyard with a map of the 100 Acre Woods printed on it. This set has been available for a while.
The next set is the 2024 Starter Set which contains a Donald Duck, Chip & Dale, Goofy and Pluto pin along with a lanyard with 2024 printed on it. This set was released in December 2023.
All four Pin Trading Starter Sets are open edition sets and include open edition pins. Pin Trading Starter Sets are $39.99 each.
Occasionally Pin Trading Starter Sets show up on the Disney store online shop for sale but none of these four sets are currently available on Disneystore.com.
