If you haven’t heard, the hit Disney Channel series Phineas and Ferb is returning to the Disney Channel and Disney+ with two new seasons. And while we haven’t had too many updates about the two new seasons nor when the new episodes will premiere, we did get a little update. Last week, Dan Povenmire, one of the original creators of the series, posted on Instagram that they had wrapped up the first episode of season five. If you follow Povenmire on Instagram, you know that he is extremely excited about reviving the series and has shared a few updates on his Instagram account.

Next week, we should learn more about the 5th season of Phineas and Ferb when co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh discuss the show at New York Comic Con (NYCC). On Thursday, October 17, 2024, the two co-creators along with unannounced special guests will share a sneak peek and exciting news about the highly anticipated new seasons of Phineas and Ferb. The NYCC panel discussion titled “Busted! Behind the Scenes with the creators of Phineas and Ferb” will take place from 3:30pm – 4:30pm in Room 405 in the Javits Center on the 17th.
Check back next Friday for an update on the NYCC panel discussion.
In the meantime, read our Phineas and Ferb Revival Season Update blog post to learn more about the two new seasons of the hit series as well as what the characters have been up to since Season 4 concluded in 2015.
