Tortilla Jo’s Closing Date Announced
Tortilla Jo’s is one of the longest surviving tenants at the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort, but yesterday, they posted on their website that their Downtown Disney location will be closing on March 31, 2024. Until then, Tortilla Jo’s is expected to operate with their normal business hours serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s quick service location will also be closing on March 31, 2024.
Tortilla Jo’s serves south-of-the-border style Mexican food. Breakfast menu options include a Breakfast Skillet, Breakfast Burrito, Belgian Waffles and more. The lunch and dinner menu includes Street Tacos, Burritos, Enchiladas and more.
At this time, we do not know what will happen to the Tortilla Jo’s building. It will most likely be taken over by a new restaurant in the Downtown Disney District; however, the building could be demolished as part of the Disneyland Forward project. That is only my speculation based on where the building is located. We should be hearing more about the Disneyland Forward project this year as well as more information on what will happen to the Tortilla Jo’s building in the next few months. I’ll keep you posted as I hear more.
