Oscars Photo Opportunity at Disney California Adventure Park

The 97th Academy Awards Oscars ceremony will take place this Sunday, March 2, 2025. The ceremony will be televised LIVE on ABC and Hulu from Hollywood, California. To celebrate the upcoming awards ceremony, an Oscars photo opportunity is on display at Disney California Adventure Park in Hollywood Land. The photo opportunity display is set up in front of Stage 12 on the backlot between the Hollywood Lounge and the Studio Catering Co. dining locations.

Guests at Disney California Adventure Park can imagine walking the Red Carpet in Hollywood and accepting an Academy Award in front of this Oscars display in Hollywood Land. A PhotoPass Photographer is not on hand to take photos but guests can take their own photos or selfies in front of this photo backdrop display.

The Oscars will be televised LIVE on Sunday, March 2nd on ABC and Hulu. Both ABC and Hulu are owned by The Walt Disney Company. ABC was purchased by The Walt Disney Company in 1996. In 2009, Disney became an equity partner in Hulu with NBC Universal, News Corp., and Providence Equity Partners. Disney provided programs to Hulu along with ABC programs that debuted on the streaming network. In 2023, Disney acquired full stakes in Hulu from Comcast for approximately $8.61 billion. The streaming network is now fully owned by The Walt Disney Company.
