An all-new attraction is coming to the Main Street Opera House at Disneyland Park! “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will open in the Opera House in a few weeks on Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, July 17, 2025. And to prepare for the opening, a new marquee was installed overnight on the front of the Main Street Opera House featuring the new attraction as well as “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” and “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” will rotate throughout the year in the Main Street Opera House. Anyone who has seen “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” knows that the show finale features an Audio-Animatronic of the 16th President that initially premiered during the 1964 World’s Fair before finding a forever home at the Disneyland Resort.
And now, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will also feature a finale with an Audio-Animatronic celebrating the founder of the Walt Disney Company and the man who helped bring Audio-Animatronics to life. An Audio-Animatronic of Walt Disney himself will speak to the audience at the end of each show which is sure to be a highlight of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration.
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” opens to the public on July 17, 2025 with a special D23 showing on the morning of July 18, 2025.
