As the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort continues to transform, a new entrance & security checkpoint has opened on the West End of the district.
Downtown Disney District West End Entrance & Security Checkpoint
The new West End Entrance & Security Checkpoint is in a slightly different location from the older entrance. This new entrance was moved a little to the East and is located near the construction of the Parkside Market and Din Tai Fung restaurant. The entrance looks so clean and fresh. “Downtown Disney” is spelled out in large silver letters above the security checkpoint.
The new entrance features a mural by artist Nikkolas Smith of the transformed Downtown Disney District. There are also new restrooms located just after the entrance. Once you enter the district, there are still a lot of construction walls up that take you to the new Downtown Disney District stage.
That’s a Wrap!
