During The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular that aired on ABC last night (available to stream today on Disney+), Disney Live Entertainment revealed the name for the new Disney Villains show that is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next summer. The new show will be called Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After.
The new Disney Villains show will replace Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy in the Sunset Showcase theater on Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Disney-Pixar Cars-themed show closed on Monday, October 7, 2024 to prepare the theater for the new Disney Villains show coming Summer 2025.
About the New Show
Here’s a description of the new show from the Disney Blog:
“The creative minds at Disney Live Entertainment will transform Sunset Showcase into the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. The show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers, with fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent each breaking through the glass to take the stage in live production numbers.”
