The Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure Park (DCA) ends tomorrow, February 18, 2024, and it is one of the most beautiful festivals at DCA every year. Part of the celebration includes “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession” which includes Mushu from Disney’s Mulan. And, this year is the Year of the Dragon and therefore Mushu is the star “dragon” of the celebration.

“Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession” was performed three times a day at 12:45pm, 2:30pm and 5:00pm throughout the celebration. I was lucky enough to watch several performances of the procession as well as record a few videos and capture a few photos of different performances.

Here is one of the performances that I captured in front of “The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure” attraction.

The procession begins with a Lunar New Year banner.

Then, throughout the processional, there are several performers in beautifully colored costumes that celebrate the Lunar New Year. I hope you enjoy these photos taken during the performance. And make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of this post to watch a video of the performance.
