This past August at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, CA, an all-new nighttime parade was announced for Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort. The new nighttime parade titled “Disney Starlight” will continue the nighttime spectacular legacy started by the “Main Street Electrical Parade” using the latest technology to tell new stories about the Disney characters we all love.
Moana Float Preview for new Magic Kingdom Nighttime Parade
And today, at the Disney Experiences panel at D23 Brazil, Disney revealed a rendering of a stunning new Moana float that will be a part of the “Disney Starlight” parade next summer at the Magic Kingdom.
The parade will be brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio. Other characters that we might see in this all-new parade include characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios films Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen and more.
The all-new “Disney Starlight” nighttime parade is scheduled to debut at the Magic Kingdom summer 2025. Besides a few artist concepts of floats, Disney has not revealed any other details about the nighttime parade. But, keep checking back for new information as it is revealed over the coming months.
