Guidelines for Costumes to Enhance the Festive Spirit
To enhance the festive spirit of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes. However, there are guidelines in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent. Costume props are allowed, but they must not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon. Sharp objects and pointed objects are also not allowed as part of costumes.
Guests ages 13 and under are allowed to wear costumes, including masks as long as they do not cover the entire face and eyes are visible. Guests ages 14 and older are encouraged to wear themed t-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts, or hats instead of full costumes. Layered costumes and costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
