On February 8, 2026, Disney California Adventure Park will celebrate it’s 25th anniversary. The theme park opened on February 8, 2001 in the space formerly occupied by the Disneyland parking lot. And over the last 25 years, the park has evolved with new attractions, lands, shopping locations and more. To celebrate the 25 years of Disney California Adventure Park, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will wear all-new costumes featuring sun motifs and a vibrant color palette as a nod to when the park first opened in 2001.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will wear their all-new outfits on Buena Vista Street for a limited time beginning February 6 during the park’s 25th anniversary celebration. Guests visiting Disney California Adventure Park will be able to meet both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their new costumes and get photographs with famous duo for a limited time during the celebration.
