Meet the Characters from Disney-Pixar Elio

Disney & Pixar’s newest film arrives in theaters tomorrow, June 20, 2025 about an 11 year old boy whose biggest wish is to get abducted by aliens. And his wish finally does come true. But before you go to the theaters to see Disney-Pixar Elio, get to know some of the characters from the film.

Elio Solis

First, meet Elio! He is an 11-year-old boy, who is obsessed with getting abducted by aliens. So, he waits and watches for aliens until he finally gets what he wants and is abducted. Elio is transported to the Communiverse, an interplanetary paradise that is home to intelligent life from galaxies far and wide. But when he’s mistaken as Earth’s leader, he must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions, and somehow discover who and where he is truly meant to be.

Elio wears a blue eye patch over his left eye. While Disney & Pixar have not mentioned why, it is assumed that he might have lazy eye. In parts of the film, Elio also wears a helmet that’s a modified metal strainer with all sorts of gadgets attached. He also wears a cape with such as colorful plastic spoons, forks, and knives and soda pop tabs.

Elio is the main and title character of the film. He is voiced by Yonas Kibreab.

Olga Solis

Olga Solis is Elio’s aunt and parental figure in the film. She oversees a classified military operation involving extraterrestrial communication that Elio intercepts, triggering his abduction by aliens. Olga is voiced by Zoe Saldaña.

OOOOO

OOOOO which is pronounced as “oooh” is the first alien that Elio meets after his abduction. She is a clear liquid-like supercomputer robot who give Elio the ability to understand the alien language. OOOOO also accompanies Elio on his adventures in the Communiverse. OOOOO is voice by Shirley Henderson.

Glordon

Glordon is a young purple and green slug-like alien alien with sharp teeth. He is the son of Lord Grigon. He becomes friends with Elio and aids him on his adventures throughout the Communiverse. Elio and Glordon share a bond of not knowing where they belong in the universe. Glordon is voiced by Remy Edgerly.

Lord Grigon

Lord Grigon is Glordon’s father and Chief Ambassador of his home planet. He is a military type figure who is always ready for battle. Lord Grigon is voiced by Brad Garrett.

Ambassador Questa

Ambassador Questa is the leader and ambassador of a planet named Gom who along with Ambassador Helix inadvertently abducts Elio and mistakes him for being the ruler of Earth. She is voiced by Jameela Jamil.

Ambassador Helix

Ambassador Helix is the leader of a planet named Falluvinum who along with Ambassador Questa inadvertently kidnaps Elio and mistakes him for being the leader of Earth. He is voiced by Brandon Moon.

Ambassador Mira & Aquarii

Ambassador Mira & Aquarii are leaders of other unknown planets who along with several other Ambassadors inadvertently abduct Elio and mistakes him for being the leader of Earth. Ambassador Mira is voiced by Anissa Borrego. Ambassador Aquarii is a green blob alien. The voice actress for Ambassador Aquarii is unknown at this time.

Investigator Bill

Investigator Bill is a tall alien with a circular face. He wears a trench coat and has a cigar in his mouth. Not much else is known about Investigator Bill. He is voiced by Omar Sherrer.

In addition to these characters, there are several other supporting characters that Elio encounters on Earth and at Communiverse after he has been abducted. Watch Disney-Pixar Elio exclusively in theaters starting June 20, 2025.
