Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* is headed to theaters May 2, 2025 and the first teaser trailer is now available to watch online. A new movie poster has also been released by Marvel Studios featuring the cast of misfit supers. And if you are questioning the asterisk in the films name, I did too! But, Kevin Feige confirmed that Thunderbolts* (with the asterisk) was the official title and said the use of the asterisk would be explained following the film’s release. Probably in an end credit scene (just my guess).
Careful Who You Assemble
A group of super misfits and outcasts are recruited to go on missions for the government in the Marvel Studios’ film. The cast includes Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman (Sentry), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent John Walker), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova a.k.a. Black Widow), and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barns a.k.a. the Winter Soilder). The film is directed by Jake Schreier.
