This is part four of the Magic Happens parade at Disneyland Park photo series.
The photos from today’s post were taken on July 19, 2023 at a 6:30pm PT parade performance at Disneyland Park.
Mickey & Friends
Mickey’s entourage of dancers leads each parade dancing to the upbeat parade track composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall. Sorcerer Mickey follows riding on his sorcerer hat float. Sorcerer Mickey is followed by Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Chip, Dale and more.
Moana
Mickey & Friends are followed by the Moana segment of the parade that starts with the Ocean Wave dancers. These dancers are followed by Moana on her wayfinder canoe, the Kakamora and Demigod Maui.
Coco
The Marigold Dancers lead the Coco segment of the parade. They are followed by Miguel on a float with a marigold bridge between the living world and the Land of the Dead as portrayed in the Disney-Pixar film.
The spirit guide Alebrijes Dancers follow Miguel’s float. And Pepita, the main spirit guide from Coco finishes out the Coco segment of the parade.
All of the photos from the Coco segment of this parade were shared on social media last summer so I don’t have any photos to share from the Coco segment from this parade.
Frozen
The next segment of the Magic Happens parade is the Frozen segment. The Enchanted Forest dancers from Frozen 2 start this segment of the parade. The dancers are followed by Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Olaf and Sven. Kristoff finishes the Frozen segment of the parade.
Magic Happens Parade Finale
The Magic Happens parade finale begins with a group of Disney characters which includes Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Pinocchio, Blue Fairy, Aladdin, Genie and Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother. This group of characters lead the way for flag bearers, three small parade floats and one huge castle float carrying Sleeping Beauty. The flag bearers lead each of the three small parade floats that carry Cinderella, Arthur and Merlin from the Sword in the Stone and Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog.
Cinderella
Cinderella’s flag bearers lead the way for her arrival in her transforming pumpkin carriage float.
The Sword in the Stone
Merlin from The Sword in the Stone dances for joy as Arthur pulls the sword from the stone.
The Princess and the Frog
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen are next with royal flag bearers carrying green flags.
Sleeping Beauty
Princess Aurora, Prince Phillip and the three fairies: Flora, Fauna and Merryweather complete the Magic Happens parade riding atop a massive castle float.

Magic Happens Parade Photo Series at Disneyland
I hope you enjoyed these photos from the Magic Happens parade on July 19, 2023. I had planned to share photos each week but have been so busy lately that I got behind on several of my projects. But, I will have another series of photos from a different parade in the coming weeks to share with you. So, keep checking back!
The Magic Happens parade is currently performed daily at 3:00pm PT. On the weekends, the parade is performed twice daily at 3:00pm and 5:30pm PT. After Memorial Day, it looks like the parade will return to a twice daily schedule for the summer based on the Disneyland website Entertainment schedule. However, check the Disney app or Disneyland website for up-to-date information as performance times are subject to change.
