The 70th anniversary celebration of the Disneyland Resort has begun with new and returning entertainment, themed food & beverages, commemorative merchandise, special character costumes and so much more. Part of the magic during the celebration includes an interactive souvenir experience, the Key to Disneyland. This special souvenir can be purchased at selection locations to unlock magical surprises in each of the nine lands of Disneyland Park. Plus at the end of the experience when all nine lands have been unlocked, a commemorative trading pin will be unlocked.

Sneak Peak at Disneyland 70th Anniversary Merchandise - 24

Here’s everything you need to know to enjoy this special and interactive experience during Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration.

How It Works

  1. Purchase your Key to Disneyland at select shops in Disneyland Park or at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.
  2. Explore Disneyland Park, looking for the 70th celebration lock station in each of the parks nine lands. Insert your Key to Disneyland into each lock to reveal an icon, light effect and music for that land on your key.
  3. Once you have unlocked the magic in all nine lands in Disneyland Park, find the Mickey Topiary Finale lock station by the entrance to Disneyland Park (near the Newsstand and tunnel), where your key will unlock more surprises—including 1 of 9 commemorative trading pins!

Disneyland Lock Station Locations

Look for a 70th Celebration lock station in each of these locations around Disneyland Park:

  • Disneyland Fire Station on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Aladdin’s Lamp inside Adventureland Bazaar in Adventureland
  • In the walkways in New Orleans Square
  • Outside of Pooh Corner in Bayou Country
  • Across from Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
  • Wilderness Expeditions and Delivery Service Wagon (near the entrance to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge) in Frontierland
  • Across from Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin in Mickey’s Toontown
  • Fantasy Faire in Fantasyland
  • Near the exit of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters in Tomorrowland

The Key to Disneyland is only available at these select shops within the Disneyland Resort:

  •  Pooh Corner
  •  EngineEar Souvenirs

Detail about the Key to Disneyland

The Key to Disneyland interactive park experience will only be available during the Disneyland Resort 70th anniversary celebration which began on May 16, 2025 and runs through summer 2026. The key can be purchased and used to unlock 1 of 9 commemorative trading pins at any time during celebration dates.

Other details of importance:

  • Commemorative trading pins are not available for separate purchase.
  • Some guests may want to collect all nine commemorative trading pins which will require at least nine different keys. However, since the commemorative trading pins are issued randomly, it is not guaranteed that you will receive a different pin with each redemption. So, guests may want to trade with other guests to try and collection all nine commemorative trading pins.
  • The Key to Disneyland and associated trading pins are not refundable, exchangeable or returnable.
  • The key and interactive experience is intended for ages 4 and up.
  • Theme park reservations and valid admission for Disneyland Park are required for entry and to participate in unlocking the magic at each of the nine lock stations.
  • The Key to Disneyland is $59.99 plus tax. Magic Key, DVC and Disney Visa discounts can be used when purchasing the interactive key.
  • This activity can be completed at your leisure, during the course of the 70th celebration. Unlock all the magic in one day—or spread out the fun across multiple park days throughout the anniversary celebration. The Key to Disneyland will save your progress so you can pick up where you left off on your next park visit.
