At the beginning of 2025, D23 Gold Membership plans were expanded from two different paid plans to three different paid plans. Each new D23 Gold Membership plan includes access to D23 events, discounts, and special offers along with the addition of an exclusive D23 Gold Membership Kit. The 2025 D23 Gold Membership Kit includes a membership certificate and card, a savings passport (providing discounts with Disney and Friends of Disney), a collectible Stitch pin, Goofy and Max car magnet, and a special D23 Disney Lorcana trading card featuring Iago from the 1992 Disney animated classic film Aladdin. Gold Membership also includes the Disney twenty-three publication that will come in a visually stunning digital and interactive version beginning with the Spring 2025 issue. A print version of each latest issue of Disney twenty-three will be available for purchase on DisneyStore.com by D23 Gold Members who join or renew in 2025. All of these benefits are available with the purchase of the new Gold Member Essential Plan offered at $49.99 per year.
D23 Gold Member Exclusive Premium Items
The new middle tier Gold Member Choice Plan is offered at $99.99 per year. The Choice Plan includes everything in the Essential Plan plus one of four new D23 Gold Member Exclusive Premium Items to be selected by the Member. The premium item options are:
- A one-of-a-kind, fashionable D23 Gold Member Spirit Jersey;
- A limited-release collectible D23 Gold Member Pin Box Set, featuring 10 pins with original character designs;
- A D23 Gold Member Fan Pack complete with a D23 Gold Member-embroidered crossbody bag, water bottle, and chino twill cap; or
- An enchanting replica of the Disneyland Park Entrance plaque (measuring 12″ inches” by 7″ inches”), a reproduction of the original plaque text draft with Walt Disney’s annotations from 1955, along with a first-to-market exclusive edition of the brand-new Disneyland 70th anniversary book, The Happiest Place on Earth, written by Disney Legend Don Hahn and former Disney Imagineer Christopher Merritt.
The new highest tier membership plan is the Gold Member Complete Plan which includes everything in the Essential Plan and all four D23 Gold Member Premium Items for $299.99 per year.

Which Plan is Right for You?
All of the information about each D23 Gold Membership plan, what each plan offers and the price of each plan is laid out above. You also know that D23 offers a complimentary General Membership with limited benefits. So now, you have to determine which D23 Gold Membership plan is right for you? And if a D23 Gold Membership is worth it for you?
First, you have to decide if a D23 Gold Membership is right for you. Do you value any or all benefits offered by a Gold Membership plan? Are you interested in access to D23 Gold Member Events or the commemorative pin, magnet, Disney Lorcana Card and any or all of the other benefits included with the Essential plan? If you answered yes, then a D23 Gold Member plan is right for you. If you answered no, you should at least consider the complimentary General Membership. There really isn’t a lot of benefits to the General Membership but at least you will have the opportunity to attend general events and enter sweepstakes.
Next, if you answered yes, you have to decide if you want one or all of the 2025 Gold Member Premium Items. If you are not interested in any of the premium items, then the D23 Gold Member Essential Plan is the plan that is right for you. If you are only interested in one item like the D23 Gold Member Spirit Jersey or the D23 Gold Member Pin Box Set, then the D23 Gold Member Choice Plan is right for you. But if you are interested in all four 2025 Gold Member Premium Items, then the D23 Gold Member Complete Plan is right for you.
In addition to all of the swag that is included with a Gold Member plan, there are a lot of events and opportunities that are only offered to D23 Gold Members like movie screenings, attending the new spotlight series, shopping opportunities and so much more.
My D23 Gold Membership Experience
In 2024, my D23 Gold Membership gave me access to attend a free movie preview screening of Inside Out 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King. I also had the opportunity to purchase advanced tickets to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, attend a preview of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at the Magic Kingdom, attend the 15th Anniversary celebration of D23, attend a movie screening of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, access to a lot of D23 exclusive pins, a shopping opportunity at the Walt Disney Company Store and Mickey’s of Glendale Store in Glendale, a year-round discount on DisneyStore.com, a tour of the Walt Disney Studio Lot in Burbank and an opportunity to attend the annual D23 Holiday Party on the Studio Lot. These benefits were in addition to the 2024 Membership Kit and Disney twenty-three Magazine Publication Annual Subscription. Yes, I did pay extra for several of these opportunities; however, as a D23 Gold Member, I did receive a discount when purchasing tickets to many of these events and I received a special gift at many of these events that was only available to D23 Gold Members. So for me, a D23 Gold Membership is a must. But which Gold Membership plan is right for you?
