Incredibles 3 is currently in development at Pixar Animation Studios with Brad Bird who wrote and directed the first two Disney-Pixar Incredibles movies. The first film, titled The Incredibles was released in theaters in 2004 and the second film titled Incredibles 2 was released in theaters in 2018. Currently, both films can be streamed on Disney+.

During Friday’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presentation at the Honda Center, Pixar Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter made the announcement about Incredibles 3 with a thunderous applause from the audience. Since the film is currently in development, no other information was shared but we should hear more about the new “supers” film as well as a tentative release date in the next few months.
