Holiday Entertainment returning to the Disneyland Resort in 2025

The 2024 holiday season has officially come to an end at the Disneyland Resort but several entertainment offerings will be returning in 2025. The 2025 holiday season at the Disneyland Resort will begin on November 14, 2025 and run through January 7, 2026. While that is still over 10 months away, the holiday season is one of the biggest celebrations at Disney Parks and the Disneyland Resort has some of the greatest entertainment offerings that are fan-favorites year after year. Here’s a break-down of the entertainment that the Disneyland Resort has confirmed will be returning to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park during the 2025 holiday season.

Disneyland Park

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

A Christmas Fantasy Parade is scheduled to return to Disneyland Park beginning November 14, 2025 and run through January 7, 2026. The parade runs daily during the holiday season from “it’s a small world” Holiday to Main Street, U.S.A. for one performance and then from Main Street, U.S.A. to “it’s a small world” Holiday for the second performance. The parade is filled with Disney & Pixar characters along with Santa’s elves, dancing snowmen, prancing reindeer and so much more!

Believe…In Holiday Magic

Believe…In Holiday Magic fireworks spectacular is scheduled to return to the skies above Disneyland Park for the 2025 holiday season. Along with the fireworks show, a magical “snowfall” will again fall nightly on Main Street, U.S.A., at “it’s a small world” Holiday and along the Rivers of America! The best place to always view Disneyland Park fireworks is on Main Street, U.S.A. but viewing areas are also available at “it’s a small world” Holiday and along the Rivers of America with not as much crowd congestion.

Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle

Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle is also scheduled to return for the 2025 holiday season. Each evening, the iconic castle comes to life as more than 80,000 twinkling lights, sparkling “icicles” and glistening snow-capped turrets light-up for a special magical moment.

Disney California Adventure Park

Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season

The all-new Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season from 2024 is scheduled to return to Disney California Adventure Park for the 2025 holiday season. The show features Mirabel, Isabella, Luisa and Bruno from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto along with dancers who put on a festive and magical show. The show takes place at Paradise Gardens Park and will most likely return in 2025 for Monday-Friday shows.

A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!

A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel! is also scheduled to return to Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure Park for the 2025 holiday season. This nighttime show celebrates the holidays with heartfelt stories and timeless songs with a special appearance by Miguel from Pixar Animation Studios’ Coco. Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland, accompanied by graceful dancers, deliver intimate, bilingual performances of beloved Christmas songs each Monday through Friday night during the holiday season.

Mickey’s Happy Holidays

Mickey’s Happy Holidays is also schedule to return for the 2025 holiday season at Disney California Adventure Park. This special character dance performance along the parade route features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and many of their Disney & Pixar friends dancing to holiday tunes along with the Holiday Toy Drummers. The dance along is performed several times a day during the holiday season starting at The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction dancing all the way to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Note that while this special holiday entertainment is really fun to watch and brings high energy, it is a very short show but definitely worth watching during your park visit.

Holiday Toy Drummers

The Holiday Toy Drummers will return to Paradise Gardens Park for daily performances several times a day. The show features playfully precision percussion by four Holiday Toy Drummers.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party

And, one of the best shows of the holiday season is also returning for the 2025 holiday season. Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party features The Three Caballeros, Mexican folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, percussionists and more! Plus, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse make a special appearance at the end of each show in their colorful fiesta attire for a festive grand finale. Since, Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season is also returning for the 2025 holiday season, I am guessing Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party will only be returning on Saturdays and Sundays again. Also, while the Disneyland website lists most of the other entertainment as returning from the start date of the 2025 holiday season to the end date, Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party is only listed as scheduled to return in 2025.

World of Color – Season of Light

World of Color – Season of Light is scheduled to return to Disney California Adventure Park for nightly performances from November 14, 2025 through January 7, 2026. This stunning nighttime spectacular features scenes from Disney & Pixar films such as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen and Pixar Animation Studios’ Inside Out set to lively holiday music.

It is highly recommended to join the virtual queue to experience World of Color – Season of Light. Details about the virtual queue will be available closer to the 2025 holiday season.
