After being closed for over seven months for a long refurbishment and an expanded outdoor queue, the happy haunts at the Haunted Mansion will once again be welcoming guests at the Disneyland Resort starting July 29, 2024 – but as the Haunted Mansion Holiday. While the mansion would normally be converted to Haunted Mansion Holiday in late August for the Halloween season, it is opening as the Nightmare Before Christmas inspired version a little earlier this year.
While the mansion is reopening on Monday, July 29, the outdoor queue is still under construction and being reimagined so Disneyland will offer a virtual queue for guests wanting to tour the mansion. Starting July 29, guests can join the Haunted Mansion Holiday virtual queue using the Disneyland app twice per day at 7am and at noon daily.
What Is a Virtual Queue?
A virtual queue which is accessible via the Disneyland app is used for guests to request a place in the attraction’s queue later in the day. Standby options will not be available due to limited space in the area due to the continued construction of the expanded outdoor queue. Guests must use the Disneyland app to enter the attraction.
Haunted Mansion Holiday Virtual Queue
In preparation for the Haunted Mansion Holiday Virtual Queue, make sure your MyDisney account is linked to your group’s park tickets before visiting Disneyland park. Each guest will be able to request to enter the virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours. A theme park reservation will be required to enter the theme park.
There will be 2 daily opportunities to request to join the virtual queue for Haunted Mansion Holiday:
- 7am – Guests must have a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a one-park ticket or a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket to request to join the virtual queue.
- 12pm (Noon) – Guests inside Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket or inside Disneyland Park can request to join the virtual queue.
