Happy National Hamburger Day from Flo’s V8 Cafe! Why Flo’s V8 Cafe? In my opinion, Flo’s V8 Cafe has the best hamburger at the Disneyland Resort – the Ka-Cheeseburger! So, what better way to celebrate National Hamburger Day than from Flo’s V8 Cafe with a delicious Ka-Cheeseburger.
Flo’s V8 Cafe is located on Route 66 in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park. Cars Land is an immersive area in the theme park that puts you right into the Disney-Pixar 2006 animated film Cars. Flo’s serves lunch and dinner and opens at 9:30am for those that want an early, early lunch. The restaurant usually closes with the park.
Flo’s V8 Cafe menu items include Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken, a Ramone’s Low and Slow Turkey Club (click for my review), a Cobb Salad, Chicken Fenders, the Ka-Cheeseburger and an Impossible Burger. The sandwich entrees and Chicken Fenders come with steak fries (or Cuties® mandarin oranges) and a pickle. Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken comes with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Seasonal Vegetables. To view Flo’s current menu, visit the Disneyland App or the Disneyland website.
Flo’s V8 Cafe Ka-Cheeseburger
The Ka-Cheeseburger features a choice of meat patty. You can choose between an Angus Beef Patty and an Angus Beef and Mushroom Patty. I’ve only tried the regular Angus Beef Patty but was told the Angus Beef and Mushroom Patty was also really good. The Ka-Cheeseburger includes Cheddar Cheese, 1000 Island Dressing and Caramelized Onions on a Toasted Bun. The Caramelized Onions are always cooked to perfection and are part of what makes this burger so good. And in addition to having the best hamburger at the Disneyland Resort, Flo’s V8 Cafe also has the best fries at the Disneyland Resort. The Ka-Cheeseburger includes steak fries (or Cuties® mandarin oranges). Price is $13.29.
Flo’s V8 Cafe Impossible Burger
And, if you prefer a plant-based burger, Flo’s V8 Cafe also has an Impossible Burger. I have also had the Impossible Burger and it is really good. I usually rotate between the Ka-Cheeseburger and Impossible Burger, depending on which I am in the mood for. The Impossible Burger has a fresh grilled taste and includes an Impossible™ Patty, American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Lettuce and Tomato. The burger comes on a Toasted Bun with a choice of steak fries or Cuties® mandarin oranges. It also includes a pickle. The major difference between the Ka-Cheeseburger and Impossible Burger is the grilled taste. The only other difference is that the Ka-Cheeseburger includes lettuce pieces while the Impossible Burger includes shredded lettuce. The Impossible Burger is also $13.29.
I give both the Ka-Cheeseburger and Impossible Burger five stars. Both burgers are delicious. As I mentioned above, both burgers are also very similar with only the Impossible Burger having more of a grilled taste. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with either burger. And the steak fries themselves also deserve five stars because they are the best fries on Route 66.
My review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Give these burgers a try during your next visit to Disney California Adventure. If you are skeptical about an Impossible Burger, I was too when I first tried one but you honestly can’t tell much of a difference between an Angus Beef Patty and an Impossible™ Patty.
