Today, Disney Cruise Line announced that several Marvel-Inspired spaces will be coming to the new heroes and villains-themed cruise ship. And, in addition to that announced, they also announced epic entertainment and more that will be coming to the Disney Destiny.
Epic Entertainment
On every Disney Cruise Line ship, each deck is brimming with entertainment, and the Disney Destiny will be no different. On this new heroes and villains-themed cruise ship, guests can catch Broadway-style productions, dance the night away, compete in a sports arena, go on virtual quests and catch a film.
Two Broadway-Style Productions
Aboard the Disney Destiny, guests can catch dazzling Broadway-style productions of “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” and “Disney Seas the Adventure” in the Walt Disney Theatre. “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” is a whimsical retelling of the iconic Disney Animation Studios film Frozen. And, “Disney Seas the Adventure” is an original Disney Cruise Line show featuring Captain Minnie Mouse, Goofy and a host of beloved Disney and Pixar characters.
Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party
Guest can dance the night away at Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party. This roguish nighttime dance party will feature a live rock band and Disney Cruise Line’s famous fireworks at sea.
A Futuristic Sports Arena
Other epic entertainment aboard the Disney Destiny will include the Hero Zone where guests can get in the middle of the action in a futuristic sports arena. The Hero Zone will allow guests to compete in The Incredibles themed obstacle courses and free-play sports.
Go on Virtual Quests
Guest can use their mobile devices to join favorite Disney and Pixar heroes on virtual quests throughout the ship on a Disney Uncharted Adventure.
Watch a Film
And, for those looking for a more laid back form of entertainment, guests can watch films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and more at the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas.
Fun for Tweens
At the Edge, tweens ages 11 to 13 will have fun, make friends and play games in a bright, colorful hangout inspired by a New York City loft.
Fun for Teens
And epic entertainment for teens ages 14 to 17 aboard the Disney Destiny will take place at the Vibe. The Vibe will be a trendy loft where teens can meet new friends, watch movies, play games and participate in group activities created just for them.
Adult-Exclusive Escapes aboard the Disney Destiny
The Disney Destiny will have a few escapes exclusively for adults.
Palo Steakhouse
Palo Steakhouse will be a premium dining experience combining authentic Italian dining with the refinement of a modern steakhouse.
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement will offer gourmet, French-inspired cuisine in a romantic and intimate setting.
The Rose
And, the Rose will offer an adult-exclusive escape for a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner cocktail.
Senses Spa & Fitness
Senses Spa will provide a tranquil oasis offering indulgent spa and beauty treatments in private treatment rooms, lavish spa villas, and steam and aromatherapy rooms. And the Senses Fitness center will offer a state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facility.
Untangled Salon
Want a new hairstyle for your cruise? Untangled Salon will be a chic venue for high-end hairstyling and beauty services.
Hook’s Barbery
Hook’s Barbery will be a unique twist on a traditional men’s salon with a “hidden” bar.
More Dining Experiences
In addition to the brand-new Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King and the Worlds of Marvel, guests can dine in style at 1923. Named for the founding year of The Walt Disney Company, 1923 will celebrate the legacy of Disney animation in an elegant setting imbued with classic Hollywood glamour. With more than 1,000 drawings, props and other tools of the animation trade on display, the artwork on the Disney Destiny will showcase tales of heroes and villains in Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph and more.
Fun Under the Sun
On the upper decks of the Disney Destiny, three distinctly themed districts will offer fun water features, quick and casual dining options, and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun.
Mickey & Friends
In an expansive district themed to Mickey and friends, guests will discover seven pools staggered among tiered decks, an abundance of luxe lounge chairs, an imaginative take on fast-casual fare with a festive character twist and the AquaMouse.
Toy Story
Little cruisers will delight in a water wonderland themed to Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story, including a splash zone, wading pool, family waterslide and smoothie bar.
Quiet Cove
Adults will indulge in sun-drenched serenity at the Quiet Cove district, a peaceful refuge set away from the bustle of family activities that will feature a luxurious infinity pool, poolside bar and chic café.
More Disney News
The first sail date for the Disney Destiny which will be in November 2025. Bookings for the the inaugural season of sailings will open to Castaway Club Members on September 6, 2024 and to the general public on September 12, 2024.
