With Donald Duck’s 90th birthday coming up in June, a lot of new Donald Duck merchandise is popping up in various retail locations including these four new Donald Duck BoxLunch Exclusive pins. None of these pins actually refer to Donald’s upcoming milestone birthday, but it is interesting to see so much new Donald Duck merchandise showing up in different retail locations.
These first two pins feature Donald in floral frames. One pin shows Donald giving the peace sign while the other pin shows Donald standing in his classic sailor suit. It is interesting to note that Donald’s sailor hat is white on all four of these pins like it was in his early animated features including his first appearance in The Wise Little Hen on June 9, 1934.
These next two pins feature an angry Donald and Donald with Mickey Mouse. The first pin features the phrase “Over It!” printed on the pin with an angry Donald pictured underneath. The next pin features Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse giving each other a fist bump.
