More Price Increases

As of today, October 11, 2023, all Disneyland one-day/one-park tickets and multi-day tickets increased in price. Also, Disneyland Genie+ and parking prices have increased.

Here’s a look at the new one-day ticket prices along with their old price:

One-Day/One-ParkNew PriceOld Price
Tier 0$104.00$104.00
Tier 1$119.00$114.00
Tier 2$134.00$129.00
Tier 3$154.00$144.00
Tier 4$169.00$159.00
Tier 5$184.00$169.00
Tier 6$194.00$179.00

Only the lowest priced tier had no change. All other tiers increased by approximately 4% to 9%. To view the Disneyland ticket pricing calendar, visit Disneyland’s website to find the best priced day for your next one-day visit.

Here’s a look at the new multi-day ticket prices along with their old price:

Multi-Day/One-ParkNew PriceOld Price
2 Day$310.00$285.00
3 Day$390.00$360.00
4 Day$445.00$395.00
5 Day$480.00$415.00

All multi-day/one-park ticket prices increased by approximately 8% to 16%.

Disneyland Park Hopper Pricing

Keep in mind, the above prices are for one-park only, no park hopping. To add park hopping to your ticket, the previous price was $65.00 no matter if you had a one-day ticket or a multi-day ticket but that has changed as of today.

Here’s a look at the new Park Hopper add-one pricing:

Park HopperNew PriceOld Price
1 Day Park Hopper Add-On$65.00$65.00
2 Day Park Hopper Add-On$65.00$65.00
3 Day Park Hopper Add-On$70.00$65.00
4 Day Park Hopper Add-On$70.00$65.00
5 Day Park Hopper Add-On$75.00$65.00

The 5 Day Multi-Park ticket is still the best deal even if you add Park Hopping, but if you want to park hop, you will be paying up to 25% more now (except for 1 Day and 2 Day tickets).

Genie+ Pricing

Genie+ also increased in price today. The old Genie+ price was $25 but the new price is $30. Keep in mind that Genie+ must be purchased in advance of your visit to receive the $30 price. If purchased Genie+ on the day of your visit, the price could be much higher since Genie+ pricing is based on demand. Disneyland did add Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Ariel’s Undersea Adventure to the Genie+ plan but does this justify an increase?

Parking Price Increases

And if all of the above price increases were not enough, parking at the Disneyland Resort has also increased.

Parking Per DayNew PriceOld Price
Standard Parking$35.00$30.00
Preferred Parking$55.00$50.00
Hotel Valet Parking$70.00$65.00
Hotel Self Parking (hotel guest)$40.00$35.00
Hotel Self Parking (non-hotel guest)$40.00+*$30.00+*

*Non-hotel guests can park at any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels for $40.00 for the first hour plus $10.00 for each additional hour (up to a maximum of $80.00 per day)

Conclusion

Wow! That is a lot to take in on one day! Visiting the Disneyland Resort is going to costs guest even more now. Price increases at the Disneyland Resort happen annually so overall this announcement should not be too big of a surprise. However, little things like park hopping, Genie+ and parking are additional costs that most guests may not take into account when they plan a vacation to the Disneyland Resort so some of these additional costs may come as a surprise to some guest.

What do you think about these price increases? Everything is increasing in price so why should Disney be any different? Or do you think the Disneyland Resort is already over-priced? Let me know your thoughts by sending me a message. I would love to hear from you.
