Disneyland Resort 2026 Calendar of Events Announced

The Disneyland Resort 2026 calendar of events has been released and next year will be full of celebrations, magic and fun. Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary celebration continues in 2026 celebrating seven decades of happiness. The Lunar New Year celebration returns to Disney California Adventure Park kicking off the year as the first event of the year with many more events and fun to follow.

Here’s a breakdown of the events coming to the Disneyland Resort in 2026.

Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary Celebration

The Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary continues in 2026 with the celebration in full swing again in January through August 9, 2026. The anniversary entertainment returning in January includes “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade”, “Wondrous Journeys” and “Paint the Night” parade at Disneyland Park. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their pals will also return in January with their 70^th Celebration attire at Disneyland Park. Other 70^th Celebration entertainment includes “Tapestry of Happiness” at Disneyland Park and “World of Color Happiness!” at Disney California Adventure Park. The “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration Parade” was not mentioned as returning entertainment in 2026.

Disneyland Resort Festivals and Limited-Time Celebrations

As with previous years, 2026 promises a year full of festivals and limited-time celebrations at the Disneyland Resort. These are the events on the Disneyland Resorts calendar for 2026:

Lunar New Year 2025 - Mickey & Minnie Mouse

Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park

Lunar New Year returns to Disney California Adventure Park in 2026 from January 23 to February 22. To ring in the Year of the Horse, Horace Horsecollar will make appearances during this joyous festival that honors Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse return in their Korean-inspired outfits, and new this year, several Disney characters will debut all-new outfits with representations of Vietnamese and Chinese attire. Guests attending the festival may also meet characters from the Pixar Animation Studios film Turning Red.

Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland Resort

Celebrate Gospel returns to the Disneyland Resort on February 20-21 and February 27-28. In 2026, this uplifting annual concert will move to Downtown Disney District for two weekends full of performances by community choirs in Southern California and featuring headlining talent Hezekiah Walker (February 21) and Yolanda Adams (February 28).

Anaheim Ducks Days at Disney California Adventure Park

In celebration of the Anaheim Ducks Hockey team, the Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim Ducks will once again team up for a one-day celebration at Disney California Adventure Park on February 22, 2026. The celebration will include a hockey-themed entertainment and activities, photo opportunities, and appearances by select Anaheim Ducks players.

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

The annual Food & Wine Festival will return to Disney California Adventure Park from March 6 through April 27. The festival will once again include creative food and beverage offerings, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment and Chef Goofy. In previous years, Soarin’ Over California has returned to Grizzly Peak during the festival but the attraction overlay was not mentioned in the 2026 announcement.

Disney On the Yard – Yardfest: Powered by Celebrate Soulfully

On June 19, this community event returns to Downtown Disney District for its second year. During the day, join a celebration of the spirit and traditions that may be found at historically Black colleges and universities, along with drum majors and Drum Major Mickey Mouse accompanied by a drumline.

D23 Day at Disneyland Resort

On August 13, the countdown to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event begins with D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, a one-day event where all guests visiting Disneyland Resort can discover magical surprises, themed moments, and fan-favorite experiences that celebrate the worlds of Disney.

Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party

The Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party one-day event at Disney California Adventure Park will take place on August 13, 2026 followed by a three-day event at Downtown Disney District from August 14-16. The party includes lively entertainment, Disney Jr. characters and activities that families with young children will enjoy.

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

Halloween Time will take place at the Disneyland Resort from August 21, 2026 through October 31, 2026. Once again, the resort will be transformed with autumn decor for the season with a few limited-time seasonal Halloween themed attractions. And, Mickey Mouse and his friends will meet guests dressed in their Halloween outfits.

Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park

The Pixar Animation Studios film Coco comes to life as Paradise Gardens Park is transformed to Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park during this annual celebration. The celebration begins August 21, 2026 and runs through November 2, 2026.

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will begin in 2026 on November 18 and run through January 2027. For the 2026 holidays, guests can expect the return of “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” at Disneyland Park, Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park, “it’s a Small World” Holiday overlay at Disneyland Park and Mickey Mouse and his friends in both parks dressed in their holiday finest.

Disneyland After-Hours Special Events

The Disneyland Resort will offer several after-hours events in 2026. These themed, separately ticketed events include pre-party park mix-ins, shorter wait times for select attractions, Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the event and more.

Disneyland After Dark

Disneyland After Dark events typically include special entertainment, rare character appearances, special event menu items and special event merchandise. This years Disneyland After Dark events included Sweethearts’ Nite, 90s Nite, Star Wars Nite and Pride Nite. Event dates are as follows:

Sweethearts’ Nite: select nights January 22-February 17
NEW! 70 Years of Favorites: March 3 and March 5
Disney Channel Nite: April 12, April 14, and April 16
Star Wars Nite: April 28, April 30, May 4, and May 6
Pride Nite: June 16 and June 18

Oogie Boogie Bash

The popular Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning in 2026 to Disney California Adventure Park on 33 select nights during Halloween Time. The event includes Treat Trails, special character meet & greets, the Frightfully Fun Parade and so much more. The 2026 event dates are as follows:

New Experiences in 2026

Bluey Debuts at Disneyland Park

Beginning March 22, 2026, Bluey and her sister Bingo will debut at Disneyland Park with an all-new celebration at Fantasyland Theatre named “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!”. This immersive, family-friendly celebration will transform the Fantasyland Theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school, where guests can join the fun of Bluey’s best day ever. Throughout the day, Bluey and Bingo will appear on stage with a troupe of comedic actors and musicians. Together, they will bring to life the popular music and games emblematic of the beloved Disney+ animated series, Bluey.

From entertaining live musical show moments that seamlessly segue into iconic games like Keepy Uppy, to interactive adventures in a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden, it’s a special time when play is welcomed and memories are created by all. Plus, Troubadour Tavern will offer a selection of foods inspired by the critically acclaimed animated series.

New Mission for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

A new mission is coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disneyland Park on May 22, 2026. The all-new story, centered around the new Star Wars film The Mandalorian and Grogu, will land in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on the same weekend that the film is released in theaters.

In addition, Hyperspace Mountain will return on April 28, 2026 for a limited time.

New Soarin’ Adventure

In celebration of America’s 250^th anniversary, the fan-favorite attraction Soarin’ will receive an all-new airborne adventure across the U.S. beginning at Disneyland Resort on July 2, 2026. The attraction, titled Soarin’ Across America, will showcase some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes.

With so many events on Disneyland Resorts 2026 calendar, now is the time to start planning your Disneyland vacation. Hotel stays can be booked on Disneyland’s website including the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and Good Neighbor Hotels. Theme park reservations can be booked up to 180 days in advance of your visit with some dates offering theme park tickets as low as $104.
