Starting Wednesday, November 6, 2024, all Disneyland Magic Key passes will go back on sale on the Disneyland website no earlier than 9am PT. The online queue opens no earlier than 8:45am PT. All 4 pass types will be available for purchase while supplies last.
Here’s a look at all four Magic Key pass types and their prices:
Magic Key Pass Type | Price |
---|---|
Inspire Key | $1,749.00 |
Believe Key | $1,374.00 |
Enchant Key | $974.00 |
Imagine Key | $599.00 |
The Magic Key pass program provides reservation-based admission to one or both Disneyland Resort theme parks. For those who are not familiar with the Disneyland Magic Key pass program, it is the name of Disneyland’s Annual Pass program. Disneyland changed the name of their Annual Pass to Magic Key Pass in 2021 when the Magic Key passes went on sale after the COVID-19 pandemic closure of the Disneyland Resort.
At this time, Magic Key passes are only available for renewal up to 30 days before the pass expiration date. Renewals also include upgrading or downgrading a Magic Key to an available pass type if available.
A Disneyland Magic Key pass offers perks, benefits and discounts that vary by pass type. You can compare the four different pass types by reading my blog post here and find out which Magic Key pass is right for you. Also, after purchasing a new Magic Key pass, you should receive a mailer from Disneyland welcoming you to the program that includes the newest Magic Key pass magnet.
Tip: All Magic Key pass types sell out quickly, usually within the day of going on sale, so be online before 8:45am PT on November 6 ready to go. Also, be prepared to wait in an online queue for an hour or two (sometimes longer) to purchase your pass. Once the online queue opens and you are assigned a number in the queue, the closer you are to number 1, the shorter your wait time will be.
Are you a Disneyland Magic Key pass holder? Or will you be purchasing a Disneyland Magic Key pass when new sales begin on November 6th? Good luck to those wanting to purchase a new Magic Key. Be patient if you have to wait in the online queue and make sure you have something else to do while you wait – but make sure you keep an eye on your position in the queue.
