Disneyland Magic Key Pass Holder Policy and Benefits Update

Policy Update

Earlier this week, a change was made to one of the Disneyland Magic Key pass holder policies. Starting October 7, 2026, the no-show penalty was removed. In addition, Magic Key pass holders are now able to modify or cancel Theme Park reservations up until 11:59pm PT on the day of the date reserved. And even though the no-show penalty has been removed, Disneyland still requests that pass holders modify or cancel their reservations if plans change. Note that Theme Park reservations are still required to allow Disneyland Cast Members to prepare for daily attendance.

Renewal Benefit

Magic Key pass holders who renew their pass through May 26, 2027 will receive a Disney Dining Card. The value of the card depends depends on the Magic Key pass type you renew into. If you renew into an Inspire Key, the Disney Dining Card value you will receive is $100. For the Believe Key, the value is $75. If you renew into an Explore Key, the value is $50 and Imagine Key is $25.

More Extras Coming Soon

Coming in 2027, Disneyland will introduce new “Iconic Disneyland®” Extras Unlocked offerings. At this time, these extras have not been revealed but will be another benefit of being a Magic Key pass holder.
