Disneyland usually mails new and renewing Magic Key holders a magnet shortly after their purchase date or renewal date. I renewed my Magic Key about 8 months ago. And, much to my surprise, yesterday, I received a new Disneyland Magic Key magnet in the mail.

Magic Key Pass Renewal Magnet

I’m pretty sure I didn’t receive a magnet in the mail after renewing my Magic Key in 2023, but honestly that has been about 8 months ago so I really can’t remember if I did or didn’t. But if I did, it was the original Magic Key logo magnet because this is my first time receiving the magnet pictured above.

The magnet is attached to a three fold mailer card with information about the Magic Key pass and the Disneyland App. The mailer card also has a note thanking the person for either renewing or purchasing a Magic Key pass.

Magic Key Pass Renewal Letter & Magnet

Thank you note!

On the opposite side of this card is the mailing address, a picture and a note that reads as follows:

“Another Year of Unlocking Magic!

We are as tickled pink as Sleeping Beauty Castle that you renewed your Magic Key pass. This will certainly be another exciting year for you to enjoy time and time again the heroic atmosphere of Avengers Campus, the alluring adventures within Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, the classic magic of Fantasyland and SO MUCH MORE.

We know you know the Disneyland Resort like the back of your Mickey Mouse gloves, but may we recommend you refamiliarize yourself with some of the Magic Key information inside.

Thank you again! We love having you as our Guest and can’t wait to see you in the Disneyland Resort Parks writing your own fairytale adventures.”

So, if you have renewed or purchased a Magic Key pass within the last year and haven’t received this new magnet yet, it seems that there is still hope. Maybe yours will arrive in the mail soon.

And if you are interested in purchasing a new Magic Key pass, three of the four pass types (Inspire, Believe and Enchant) are currently available for purchase on the Disneyland website. The highest tier pass is the Inspire Magic Key which has the least amount of blockout dates and the highest merchandise and food & beverage discount. The next tier is the Believe Magic Key, followed by the Enchant Magic Key. The lowest tier is the Imagine Magic Key pass which is only available to Southern California Residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599 and is currently only avaiable for renewal.

As always, I’ll “See ya real soon” Mouseketeers!
