Disneyland Magic Key Extras Coming in January

As the new year approaches, Disneyland has announced some special extras coming in January exclusively for Magic Key holders. Starting January 7 & 8, 2025, three new extras will be available for a limited time.

First, from January 7 through January 13, 2025, Magic Key holders can stop by the Starcade in Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park to meet special Disney Characters and capture a photo with a PhotoPass photographer. Also, while at the Starcade, Magic Key holders will receive a special souvenir pin and lanyard set (while supplies last). Character appearances haven’t been announced but these events usually feature rare character meet & greets. This limited opportunity will be available from 2pm to 7pm daily starting January 7 – 13.

Next, from January 8 through January 31, 2025, Disneyland Magic Key holders can enjoy a special Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot with a complimentary digital download from dusk (approximately 4:30pm) to park close. The location for the Magic Shot has not been announced, but based on the promo picture, it will be at Sleeping Beauty Castle.

And lastly, from January 8 through February 19, 2025, Magic Key holders can purchase a special Stitch Popcorn Bucket and get $2.00 refills. These popcorn buckets usually sell out fast but as long as the Magic Key refillable bucket has been purchased, Magic Key holders can get $2.00 refills when the bucket is present through February 19, 2025.
